I have so many bird feeders. I'll have to check and see what I can find that is in good shape and take some pictures for you. We probably have some bird houses too are you interested in those? beautiful bird and great picture. We have a close relative, the cactus wren, living on our place. I love them because in addition to being playful the way they move and hold on to things, they catch lots of bugs and tend to ward off other birds, some of which like to peck at my fruit. I hope he will grace your home for quite a while.

Thank you! I think that is probably it. I also found a related species that looked extremely similar called a Hairy Woodpecker. I couldn't tell the difference. I am in Western NY. I guess I was right about it being a female.
