I like your house color as it is; very craftsman-like. I do think the garage doors should be painted so that they do not stand out and call attention to themselves. I think your front porch is lovely and should be where our eyes want to go. I definitely agree with Patricia...white is not a good choice for this home.

What about when the hydrangeas go and the Montauk Daisies take over Kidding!! I like the idea of carrying the sign color to the door - that could be very pretty. Does the sign color look good with your siding? I love the Dusty Mauve @houssaon posted. I haven't seen that before - may steal that for our front door!

Your new June sure is loving it's new home! Heart and Soul looks good, too. I wonder if your teaspoons will have more elongated leaves being in more sun than the rounder ones I think happen in more shade? I'm not surprised to see the whites burning on High Society. It will be interesting to see what acclimates to more sun next year. I have one in sun that burns every year, and it just dawned on me to move it, lol. Ironically, it's Sun Power. It looks great in spring, which I suppose is why I've left it there, but it can't take the harsh sun we have by summer.

I've said this before, but i like stumbling across some of these new-to-me recipe developers that use what is on hand rather than relying on a specific shopping list. This is their 'quick and easy' section of recipes...link, Two Kooks in the kitchen I like the quick appetizer using english muffins. I always have EM's in the freezer as well as mini baquets and a couple bagels. I like cutting a bagel into quarters giving 8 mini cream cheese/salmon, cucumber, capers, dill, lemon, breakfast bites for house guests. Goat cheese, olives, artichoke hearts on toasted english muffin quarters. yum
