Trilobyte looking tailed larva? eating Mexican Olive leaves

Anyone know what these guys are? I live in the south tip of Texas (zone 9) and found them on the underside of the leaves of my Mexican Olive tree (cordia boissieri). I also saw several skeletonized leaves near them.

They look like trilobytes or something of that shape and are predominately white or beige looking with thin black stripes, some yellow coloring, a black forked tail, something that looks like black eyes or markings, and lots of little claw-like looking things along the sides. They are about 1/2 long.

Gee, I hope they aren't some type of asp or stinging caterpillars!!!
