Beware the Shepherd's Hook!

After DH put out the 5 Hummingbird feeders, the suet and the seeds, I glanced out the window and saw a warbler on the metal hook, with his head pointed toward the ground and his tail near the fork of the double shepherd's hook. I've seen this stance with caged birds but knew it was unusual for a wild bird, especially on something that wasn't easy for little feet to grasp.
DH headed out the door as I explained what I thought had happened. Sure enough, the Warbler's left leg was caught between the fork of the Shepherd's Hook and his body weight was pulling him downward.
DH grasped the bird, lifted him off, did a quick exam and off the lucky bird flew.

I know this is probably very uncommon, but thought it's worth sharing. Fortunately our other Shepherds Hooks have a tighter fit, so I'm going to close the gap on this one so it doesn't happen again.
Here's a pic of the area the bird caught his leg in.
