Hawk ID, if possible

Had to shoot quickly this morning, he was a solo flyer, not part of group migration in central CT. It's as close as I can bring the pic without distorting it. TMFF? any one? could he be a broad wing with the tail feathers pulled tight? That sounds strange, but the wing pattern looks to me like it might be a BW Hawk.

TMFF - this time I know it's not a gull, lol.
