They are not House Finch eggs (mostly white) and are not Chipping Sparrow eggs (bluish with scattered brown dots around one end usually), but they do look like cowbird eggs.

I found another pic -- it seems cardinal eggs can vary quite a bit from one to another in color. Are yours all the same size? Hopefully you can see the female on the nest (from a distance, of course) and confirm the bird. Here is another pic.

They look really blue on my screen but maybe mine is off color. The one on the right looks brown though. I have found a lot of cowbird eggs in Red Winged Blackbird nests. If they are blue they could be RWBB eggs. Let us know what you find out.

This bird built it's nest in the Dwarf Alberta Spruce tree which is about 6-7' from the Diningroom window.

Nestlings at about 6 days old

I was worried these maybe cowbird nestlings because of their ruby mouths, but they have dark down not white like cowbird hatchlings do. I posted my concern at the NestWatch-Cornell Lab of Ornithology page on Facebook and they said that Song Sparrow nestlings are actually know for having quite a ruby colored gaped and they aren't nearly as large as you would expect a Cowbird chick to be. So, SoSp it is!

I will watch for brown hatchlings and pray they are not white downed.
I am pretty sure we have a few song sparrows around.

Well, it sure isn't a cardinal, so my guess was wrong! What a cute little nest. Good luck with them -

No babies as of yet--Poor little mom about drown today.
almost 4 in. of rain in last 24 hours.
Took out our electricity out at 3 this morning-Had the generator on and that went after about 3 hours and hubby still does not have it fixed and we had the warmest day of the summer today.
Electricity is back on after 12 hour.
Boy do I miss modern things.
No water, no flushing, no air conditioning and you hate to open refrigerator cause you know it not holding it own
and it was to hot to work outside.
And on top of all of that it was my hubby's birthday and he was going to play with his remote control sailboat-another day I guess.

Something got into the nest. I suspect a raccoon.
Now I will never know for sure if they were song sparrows or not.
But at least now I can go pick the red tomatoes that were starting to call to me and yet I did not want to go into that area of the garden and disturb the mama.
