Where did you find Guarritto/Guarrito seeds? I bought a jar of pickled peppers "Geurito " a few years ago which I presume are the same thing - small and yellow. I always wanted to grow those for pickling but I've never seen them through a bona fide seller.

Sometimes I omit the sausage and throw in some chopped up veggies, such as red or green pepper, onion, mushrooms. This is one of the few recipes in which I use white bread. Have always been happy with the results, but may try whole wheat someday. I'm also very intrigued with using hash brown patties or croutons. Phyllis, would you mind posting the particulars? Like how many patties and eggs, how much milk and cheese?

My one year old english bulldog has weekly puppy play dates with another Eng. Bully.They bark at each other all the time. Tootsie likes to run up onto chairs or tables and Lulu sits on the ground barking at her to come play. they're talking. They actually get quite vocal. And their playing looks rough to me with all the biting but you can see they are enjoying themselves. They run around the yard chasing each other. Lulu goes and gets tootsies toys and drop them in front of her to get her attention. They were even playing tug of war today with the rope. I think as a dog owner you can recognize when your dog is playing or when she is getting mad.

I had half a Panera Bread Mediterranean sandwich only because a friend came over to help with the flooring in my closet and she is a vegetarian and that's what she picked. I had always wanted to try it before but usually end up getting their chicken salad sandwich or the Bacon Turkey Bravo sandwich. I also got us apples that come with the meal but mine was rotten at the top, hard not to see it and her's was mealy she said. I just had the other half of my sandwich. It's pretty good even with no meat. I made some butternut squash with butter, brown sugar and pecans today. Gave my friend about half of it to take home. I'm now thawing out a turkey in the sink with cold water. It seemed pretty frozen even though it has been in my fridge for two days. Will have a mini Thanksgiving meal for myself tomorrow. Freeze some meals for work too. I have stuffing mix and gravy to go with them.
