Crimea

I want You to know about the Crimean peninsula. It is situated in Ukraine and it is the great place for camping.

It has the unique nature. There are mountains covered with wonderful forests and deserted fields, and mud-baths, and seashores located in a quite small area. There are very vivid and diverse flora and founa in Crimea.

Welcome, Arthay: I don't think I'll be in your country any time in the future, as i don't fly on those airplanes, nor do i go out on the ocean in tiny ships! Although, i did have 2 sea cruises, during World War II, courtesy of my dear old Uncle Sam! Fortunately, i didn't have to travel far while i was across the sea, as i was in France while i was there.
I'd like to see things about your country. Are there any camping web-sites that we can access, to get information?
In our country, there are many places to camp! And, many places to visit, if you come here. Knowing the spoken language is a big help, too.
Many of the known places have web-sites, where you just type in the name, and something is sure to come up on screen.

About me: I'm almost 84 years old, still have all my senses, work every day, still driving our vehicles, play bluegrass banjo at jamm sessions once a week, and enjoy my dear wife's cooking! I also repair lawn mowers, etc. for spending money. I'm a disabled WW II veteran, lost my left foot due to combat wounds, but it doesn't hold me back.

Nice to see that some elderly people are as active as young or even more.
Talking about Ukraine I can't omit to say that my country is quite poor though it has everything to be rich. Ecology gets worse with years. Crimea is something special. It is the Autonomous Republic. The ecology there is much better then in "Big" Ukraine. There are great forest reserves. There are even some wild caves.

Sorry to disappoint you Mario. Not rare at all in the UK. Often used in municipal bedding schemes as dot plants and, yes, it should flower. Don't know where you live but now you are aware of it I bet you will start to see it in parks, especially those which pride themselves on their flowerbeds. But take heed of the toxicity warnings. Seven_Six_Two none (My Page) on Sat, Feb 9, 13 at 22:11 Putting reflectors on those CFL bulbs would make a world of difference! Also, using food tins exposes plants to a hormone similar to estrogen that is in the inner plastic sealant of wet food cans! You are absolutely correct about reflectors. They would help and I will be using bucket light as you see in my last post. The chemical you are referring to is BPA. I was totaly unaware of this and i Thank you for bringing this up to me. The bad news is that it is in pop bottle, bottled water, medicine bottles, water cooler container, plastic rap in the fresh( meat, pastry, vegetable, and fruit packaging.. Its in milk cartons and jugs. This includes soy.almond coconut, and rice beverages. as you brought up cans of processed food. More bad news, BPA is BAD FOR HUMANS, More bad news their are serious health risks connected to BPA. Now for the GOOD news. living organism rid them selves of BPA farly quickly. I dont want to be harvesting green from plants in the tin, but the plants grown in tins as starts will clear them selve of much of the BPA. i'LL NEED TO DO A LOT MORE RESEARCH TO MAKE SURE i GOT THIS RIGHT AND MAKE ADJUSTMENT TO MY GROWING TECHNICS. cAPs BUTTON STicks

Well, somewhat mild: http://www.tching.com/2016/03/mission-impossible-reviewing-teas-from-north-korea/ Have seen a whole bunch of tea plants over the years at Cam Forest, what made the so-called Sochi teas moderately notable is that they had the bigger, bolder foliage of the more tender cultivars, but were said to be fully zone 7 hardy. Obviously that testing didn't occur within the immediately environs of Sochi itself, but somewhere else in the world that was colder. Anyhow, I'm trying one of the Sochi and another from somewhere else in the Caucasus mountains. Cam Forest has offered all sorts of teas in recent years - probably a wise move for them, branching out so much into the 'edibles' category. I don't drink tea but just want them as further representatives of the Theaceae in my garden. Those were interesting to me because they are so far from the traditional tea growing areas.
