Un-got the van

Sorry the Chrysler T&C didn't pass muster. We had it for trial period and it ran and drove like a new one. My son gave it the professional going over and said he could find no evidence it had ever been serviced, No oil-change, lube job, air filter, oil filter, brakes or transmission. He pointed out that about 100,000 miles this lack of service may start to show up as serious problems. Well we will look for another, but tell you the truth I would rather have a Dodge Ram 150 passenger van. What do you think Steve in Baltimore

Wow! Better get a hitch for the gas tanker if you get the Dodge. Buy a Consumer Reports car buying guide, available through the internet. Honda Odyssey and Toyota Sienna are the two top-rated minivans currently, and both have better-than-average depreciation, integrity and reliability. GMC Savannahs are great for full-size, but they do guzzle fuel.

Hi Kristi, How is the search for purple rain going? Have you succeded? If not, Maybe i could help? Bakker has Purple Rain. I do not know wether they deliver uitside the Benelux, but i could order a bulb for you and then send it to your adress. I only hope there is no problem with customs and sanitary authorities. Another option is that plant it here (otherwise it would get depleted) and then give it to you when you come to Holland for Keukenhof's Amaryllis show. Is that an idea? You can get good control of aphids with ladybugs.Lacewings larvae will eat mites.FYI your praying mantis also eats benefital insects as well as the bad guys.The whitefly parasite(a parasitic wasp) will eat your whitefly. I have not had problems this year with the insects you have. Mine have been leafhoppers on all my salvias. I get whitefly on my S. gauranitica I spray it with Insecticial Soap w/Seaweed Extract. I have to do that daily being organic's are contact kill only.The predatory insects usually do a better job being the insects don't build up a resistance to being eaten.You should also have a small fan blowing over your seedlings.The air movement helps keep populations from getting started.The other thing is using a yellow pest strip to monotor insect activity so you are ahead of the problem. We are seriously considering Karndean vinyl to put down in the whole house, but Karndean is not serious about getting us the samples we ordered quite some time ago! :o) Does anyone have pics of Karndean: Van Gogh Barnwood Plank in Hazelnut or Bracken colors or Van Gogh Grandewood Plank in Christchurch Oak color? If so, I would GREATLY appreciate seeing your pics. Also, do you have an extra plank or 2 I could buy from you since Karndean isn't sending the samples?
