Your cottage walkway has filled in so nicely! I remember when you first posted that. What is the flower in the 3rd pic? So different - I'm really liking lime green with red/pink tones since I got my Picasso Wave. Love your hollyhocks and of course gotta love those Waves! Enjoyed the pics.

We get whopper orioles! They are the most furtive of birds and they make a "chuck chuck" ugly noise I learned to recognize and when I hear it I dash to the window to see if I can spot one, it's tough because they won't even let me look at them through the blinds. We use the glass 27 oz feeders and the orioles hang upside down with their feet around the plasticized wire the feeder hangs from to use the feeder. They must be able to get something like this because they keep coming back. They are really gorgeous and huge.

don't know about your woodpeckers but i have a pair of lewis's woodpeckers who have nested here last 3 years. i also have lots of orioles and i put out fruit and jelly and watermelon for the orioles, the young Lewis's love the jelly and watermelon and eat lots of fruit and they come back every year. i also have downeys and hairys and flickers that use the same feeders as the Lewis's
