I suggest mulberry... the birds love the berries, plus... there will be plenty of caterpillars for them. For the butterflies... I suggest paw paw... there's a number of very cool types that grow in florida and nowhere else... http://www.floridasurvivalgardening.com/2013/03/floridas-amazing-native-pawpaws.html Also... try passion flower (passiflora) for the frits n long wings. Might be too late this year, but papaver somniferum is always a big hit with the goldfinches... as self sowing annuals... they don't require any effort once established. I take a lot of hummingbird pics out in my garden... and the plants that attract them would make too long of a list to post here... Maybe search hummingbird photos... and plant the flowers that they're photographed with... My Cavalier King Charles Spaniel is a retired show dog and was raised on Orijen and other pricey brands. She was a very picky eater when I got her and had issues with runny stools occasionally. When I was "dog-sitting" a friend's dog, she stole a taste of the food he feeds his dog - Rachel Ray's "Zero Grain" - and gobbled it down. I switched her over to that and the runny poop problem disappeared like magic. She's at a good weight, has the shiniest coat she's ever had, and now begs for her food. I give her 1/2 cup twice a day with a chopped up hard-boiled egg, and some frozen veggies mixed in. (She prefers Bird's Eye California Blend - broccoli, cauliflower, and carrots.) She gobbles it up and is healthy, happy and has a glorious coat. Sometimes the premium dog foods have way too much protein in them and give dogs runny stools because they can't tolerate the extra protein. There is no one "best" dog food for all dogs, despite what surveys and well-meaning people say. You have to experiment with different ones and see what works best for your own dog. "Expensive" doesn't always mean the best. What is best for your dog may not be best for another dog or breed. If your dog likes it and it doesn't give your dog runny stools or constipation issues, and the dog's coat is glossy, not dry, and the dog is neither gaining excess weight or losing weight, then that's probably the best food for him/her.

Golddust and Groominggal (thanks for the suggestions), I think they do make storage cubes. And putting the wheels on would be easy. The tricky part would be the food-safe liner. And I would like that liner to have a handle for easy lift-out for pouring into bowls, and getting the last drop of old before adding new. Jeannine, you're lucky you have that much free shelf room. The little bags are a lot easier to handle! Allison, thanks for the link. That's probably what I should use in my garage if I'm to keep on getting the big bags, at least. That's a great price! Maybe with the smaller bags I could find a way to have only one location... in my kitchen... but I'm going to have to carry those bags up the stairs. Desertsteph, I love corner cabs, they are so cute! I hope you can work something out. Pupwhipped, those are deffinitely cute for a garage or pantry. I wish they would tell how many lbs. of dog food each size would hold.

Pat z6 SEMich - Hi Pat, I just noticed your question about Walmart vs. Amazon. A couple years back I was shopping for rug pads and decided to purchase from Amazon over Home Depot because I'd save money not paying sales tax. Fast forward a week or two and Amazon still had NOT shipped my order. I was furious. They want people to pay their ridiculous Prime fee when you can buy from places like HD or Walmart that will typically ship items out right away. I had to postpone putting furniture back out (after new floors went in) because I was waiting on Amazon to ship my rug pads. I bought them two weeks before I needed them and was still waiting. That's unacceptable. I always go out of my way to buy elsewhere when possible (eBay, Walmart, Wayfair, local, etc.). Also, Amazon is NOT always cheaper like most assume. Amazon is a convenience for most. I prefer Walmart because if I need to return an item I can return to the store which is one mile away from me. With Amazon you have to ship items back (total hassle). Walmart has made an effort to start selling more American made products and hire Vets. They even had a commercial of people praying a while back (something that is rarely seen today). They are far from perfect but I do see them trying and I much prefer Walmart over Amazon any day of the week. I typically only use Amazon for reviews. If I do find an item on there that is the lowest cost then I always just make sure I have 1-2 weeks to wait for delivery. Some of their items have shipped quicker, but those rug pads I bought sure pissed me off.
