I purchased "Becky" several years ago from Carl Drebilbis of Houston TX, and after 2 seasons I posted a picture of a pot full of this plant as seen above on this forum. This variety always seems to want to revert to Laurentii, but every once in a while it throws a very nice variegated leaf; no two leaves are the same. The leaves are a little shorter in length than Laurentii. I think I still have 'Becky". Contact me at mlaforest05@comcast.com

Well, I did find my "Snow Angel" at Green Acres, a small nursery on the corner of Green Bay (131) and K in Kenosha. I always wanted to stop there to look and said what the heck, and sure enough there it was. I was excited and the lady working there probably thought I was nuts!

Exactly Rouge! It's only an hour away! The thing is, this weekend kicked off the first real heat of the season for us. 90+ temps all week. So, even if I had lots of spaces in my beds to fill (which I don't!), it's not optimal planting time. The three things I did buy (digitalis lutea, baptisia sphaerocarpa, and an epimedium that was so darn robust and gorgeous that I had to take it home), I put in yesterday, and I'll have to really coddle them through this summer to get them established. But they had a beautiful Bottlebrush Buckeye that I have my heart set on getting - hopefully at the end of the season, when things cool down a little. So, mark your calendars to join me then!
