Female bluebird

Tonight I decided to go out and check my bluebird box since I have not seen much activity with the adults near the box today. When I opened the box I was surprised to see the female sitting on the nest. She did not move, even when I jiggled the box. I am hoping she is okay and just wanted to sit on the eggs to keep them warm. It rained all day and was a high of 72. It will get down to 55 tonight. She has been sitting on 5 eggs, but I'm not sure how long or when they will hatch. The male bluebird was in the trees above. I have not seen him try to feed her or check on her. Anybody know if this is "normal" for a female bluebird sitting on her eggs?
