Saw this bird for the first time today. I know it's not a very good picture. At first I thought it was an American Goldfinch, but this bird is larger and is not bright yellow with black markings. I hope he comes back and maybe I can get a better picture. Thanks.

Thank you elly!! He first landed on top of my shepard hook that I have a feeder hanging from, and I thought for sure he had a "tufted" head...not sure if that is how to explain it. I tried taking a picture of him on the hook, but, he saw me and flew over to my clotheslines LOL. The "tufted" head doesn't show in this picture.

third clip... thats it ... https://www.allaboutbirds.org/guide/Gray_Catbird/sounds# good job babs.. who needs birders.. when i got a babs .. lol ... and there sure are enough cats around.. so go figure on that .. lol .. i have an old 3 gal dog water bowl on the deck ... for the feral cats.. and birds in the heat of summer ... so i get all kinds of interesting fauna out the kitchen window ... you should hear the old cat on the inside of the sliding door.. bitchin at the birds.. i dont even know how to explain that noise.. lol .. ken
