Ox, You talking about watching that fig for over a week reminded me of My In-Laws fig tree across the road from here, My mother -inlaw had been watching her last fig of that years crop for the longest time, Well I beat the Ole Gal to it, you talking about being mad, she gave me one heck of a cussin, She lost all her religion right then and there, I asked her where was her religion? She told me, if I opened my mouth one more time, she was going to knock my block off...I did not want my block knocked off so I went back home (here) In her later years she had that terrible Alzheimer disease, She got plumb darn dangerous when I reminded her of that Fig ordeal. Regards Cecil

Thanks for all the kind comments on my blog. That's my *indoor* creative endeavor. LOL We have a bunch of Monarchs in the yard again today. Not as many as last week, but enough to be fun and pretty. It is breezy today, so they tend to stay on the ground. They look like a fallen leaf until disturbed. Very fun. Here is a link that might be useful: Creative Soul

Lori, Canada's a lot closer than Mexico. Back when there was premium on US Dollar exchange, people from nearby states used to come up here by the busload to get drugs - legit ones, that is ... not the green stuff that they try to slip over the border through the mountains in B.C. Well, maybe that, too (but not by the busload!) ... but we didn't hear about it on TV (till there was a bust!). Now that the currencies are more or less at par, much of the price advantage has been eroded, but I think that there is still a certain advantage in price levels here. My problem would be that I would not want to buy powerful chemicals to put into my precious, irreplaceable body from an unknown source. Especially over the internet, for the recipient has no idea of who the sponsor, or even the service provider may be, let alone the regulations regarding manufacture or compounding or even conditions under which the drugs were manufactured. Maybe the sender runs off with your money and you get nothing. Maybe you get a bunch of sugar pills ... which might be of some value, if you believed so! Maybe you get some of more or less the right kind of drug ... but how can you be sure of quality? quantity, including precision of amounts per pill? cleanliness of plant (no floor sweepings in the pill)? Maybe, along with, or instead of, the real thing, you get other stuff that might tend to encourage addiction. Or cause other temporary, or permanent, damage ... even death. I'd want to be certain of the integrity of both supplier and product. If manufactured in Canada, regulations are very comparable to U.S. standards. I heard from a pharmacist (former colleague in foreign missionary/development/refugee work) a while ago that the pharmacist here has to see the person with the prescription. But I think that a foreign-origin prescription is acceptable. I had a connection with one of the internet-based prescription providers some time ago, but have lost contact info. Could do some checking, if you wish. I hope that you haven't suffered any permanent or long-term damage and are feelng a lot better soon. Also that they don't have to go digging around in that leg, again. Good wishes for major easing of the pain soon and full healing. ole joyful P.S. I've received a lot of spam, including drug stuff, also offers for goods that are supposed to enhance certrain male body parts. When I try to send a "Reply" ... I often get a message from a service provider saying that there's no such person/address. When I attempt to go directly to the service provider through which the originating message came, I get only a page allowing me to unsubscribe. Many advisors say to not answer such, for in most cases that shows the spammmers that yours is a live address ... which can be sold for more, so you end up getting a bunch more spam (not the Monty Python kind!). o j

Hello everyone, my name is Dana and I am part of the mypefectcolor.com team. I have some great tips for you. If you are having trouble with your screen resolution you can get a paint chip you may have from some prior paint jobs and search for that color on our site. When you locate that color adjust your monitors color to match, this paint chip, this will make the adjustments needed to your screen to view color accurately. Please keep in mind the purpose of this site is to get an idea of color and to now have the ability to actually test it in a unique mini-can size: if you like the color there are several ways to buy gallons, 1) you can buy from us at a rough price of $4 extra per can depending on your location & if you live in the northeast FedEx home Delivery takes 1 day 98% of the time anywhere else around 3days (unless of course you pay for expedited shipping) 2) Each can be brought to any store for duplication, for instance if you purchased hc-32 Benjamin Moore you would go to your local Benjamin Moore store and say you want hc-32 in what ever paint you want and it will be the same color. 3) Since we use Benjamin Moore paint you can take it to your local Benjamin Moore dealer and we will provide you with the formula for exact replication of the formula we used. Currently most brands only offer 2oz jars or pods in very limited colors, forcing you to buy a quart to test the colors. The colors will be as accurate as any color can be, for example when customers come to our store and say they want a quart of a color we always as if they are touching up, if they say they are we recommend painting from corner to corner so they donÂt see any variation. Another example of this would be when a customer purchases 2 gallons of a custom color we still recommend mixing them together since all paints have batch lots. The same thing is true with our sample cans. We recently had a writer from the star ledger find a discontinued color from Martha Stewart "Allium green" on our site, she could not find it anywhere and purchased a pint from us to test us out. She said it was nearly perfect to her old paint job. I am not advocating touching up with us since we only use flat paint and touching up is very difficult but she actually wrote an article in September in the NJ Star Ledger about how impressed she was with the accuracy. I hope the screen trick works for you and if you have any feedback positive or negative please keep us posted we want to continually become better and hopefully help all of you make your homes beautiful.
