For those with Chickadees...Do you see them...

peeking at all? Today is day 17, I took the wren guard off on day 15. Parents are still going all the way into the box to feed the four babies and I have seen no peeing at all. Do they normally peek like the Blues and Tres do or not?

The two baby Blues down at the park have fledged..yeah!! Also have four four day old baby Blues here in my yard. Mom and Dad are busy feeding them real bugs and only stop in for mealworms for themselves now but they aren't eating nearly as much as they have been. I am sure that will change soon though.

Nests are so low and the babies so tiny, can't see how they can peek. I'm currently watching a dee house with 5 babies-one is a very tiny runt. With mama and papa dee calling them out, I'm sure when their fledge day comes, they will just shoot out of the box.

This is a second dee pair. The first nest fledged 5 and I totally missed it but the woods sure are full of dee deeing.

Donna, this was my 6th year hosting dees and I don't think I've ever seen one peek. Linda's comments on the low nest makes sense as to why they wouldn't.

E. Knuthii had branches that use to look like this early season .... but now they look like this.. Moving right along( sort of slowly) E. Larkspinsis is making freasher arm progress by cutting 3 -4 of the lankier droopy arms per season While talking about some do overs here is an E. greenyii that was nearly drowning when adopted. I'll admit it this one is kind of small for a E. lactea creasted variegate You ought to see the mother that this had been plucked from while admitting I am kind of hoarding that one. You've seen this one before on your thread from others as it finally gets some colors. And why is there a seniceo on a Euphorbia thread Well... as you did ask for a succulent and..... technically Euphorbia are a spurge.. A bit of show and tell from you too perhaps ? How are yours doing ?

For those on an iPad, you can also take a screen capture, or picture of what is currently displaying in your screen, by pressing the Home and Power buttons briefly at the same time. You will hear a sound like a camera taking a picture, and your screen image will appear in your Photos.

I posted a response this a.m. and it's not there. Last weekend I thought I had responded to it and when I didn't see it this a.m. I thought that perhaps I just hadn't hit "submit" so I went ahead and responded again. I see that there are supposed to be 15 responses but only four (I think) are showing up. This must be one of those famous GardenWeb glitches. I love this forum and hate to complain because if it just shut down I may start twitching.

Hi Michelle yes Lovely Lady is a beautiful Rose mine is a Standard also. I like the long stems, great for vases, mind you I have one branch with seven buds on it. I wish the buds would open just a bit more so I can cut the seven off at once. You like perfume, that Camp David will blow you away. Thanks YQ no there is nothing better than raindrops on roses. Thanks, that does make sense too. I will just have to keep watching. I hope I get to see them fledge, if not hopefully they will bring them to the feeders eventually.

So what day did yours fledge? Sialis says day 16, I know that varies. It took them 15 days to hatch so I am figuring a bit longer to fledge too. LOL!
