I think that in Mobile, we are too far removed to participate in a plant swap such as this October fest you are planning. But we had to back off watering as well, even with an irrigation meter. I bought two 85 gallon plastic thingys to put under the downspouts, and it promptly went into drought mode. So I did not install them yet. Also, the new strip of land we bought from our neighbor was cleared in the early spring, and that is under the pecan trees and gets afternoon shade most of the year. But going back there, where I've planted the bananas, elephant ears, aspidistra, leriope, etc, it feels like a sauna most of the time. I can feel my hair drooping. And somewhere in the middle of all this, I fell in love with hostas. Getting some with the fragrance gene seems my best bet, but I'm really gambling with it. My brief flirtation with zone 5B MA gardening is coming to an end this fall, so I'll devote full time to real south Alabama gardening. Even with all its trials and being beyond the zone for many gorgeous plants, I can chop down camphor tree shoots with the best of you guys. Even if I have to take small pauses quite often.

I don't know where you got the idea this hotel issues bath-size Dial. I was able to locate some bath-size Ivory which I left in your room. As of today I possess: - On shelf under medicine cabinet - 18 Camay in 4 stacks of 4 and 1 stack of 2. - On Kleenex dispenser - 11 Camay in 2 stacks of 4 and 1 stack of 3. - On bedroom dresser - 1 stack of 3 Cashmere Bouquet, 1 stack of 4 hotel-size Ivory, and 8 Camay in 2 stacks of 4. - Inside medicine cabinet - 14 Camay in 3 stacks of 4 and 1 stack of 2. - In shower soap dish - 6 Camay, very moist. - On northeast corner of tub - 1 Cashmere Bouquet, slightly used. - On northwest corner of tub - 6 Camays in 2 stacks of 3. Please ask Kathy when she services my room to make sure the stacks are neatly piled and dusted. Also, please advise her that stacks of more than 4 have a tendency to tip. There were so many funny stories posted years ago. I'd be laughing until the tears were rolling. Anyone remember Marlin, the lady from Cuba who became a US citizen? Her posts and Dottie's were hysterical.

Years ago a friend decided I should have fb so I could play games with her. She set up my account. I've never played games lol. Think I only have been on fb a few times. A few lovely people inthe laundry room set up a private by invitation only fb. I've been there only a handful of times. I'm just not a fb kinda girl. My daughter has a fake name fb that only family and her bf know the name just as an emergency in case someone's trying to reach me and my phone is broken which has happened a few times. They than send Amiee a private fb message to get ahold of me. My boys 8&(10on the 29'th) don't do any internet so no fb. I am considering teaching them about fb as an emergency in case anything should ever happen to them and they need to contact Amiee. I'm also not on any other social media, just Houzz. I have too much to do here with my daughter and two boys I just don't have the time. Some of you that are of the age with grown kids can think back to the days they were kids and how busy you were with home and family..not enough hours in the da y. LOL
