Hello Claire, I can give you a littl e bit of advice as I am growing a dwarf keylime and a dwarf moro blood orange. I went to Walmart and bought Organic Miracle Gro potting soil but unfortunetly it is not available on there website to purchase directly. They will tell you to enter your address and they will give you stores in your area that carry it. Logees greenhouses sell organic citrus fertilizer in a box. There address is logeesgreenhouses.com I think. Just google Logees and they can help you. I have tried the three more pop. tropical fruit nurseries here and none of them have it. I bought my citrus last year and they are growing like crazy. I really think the soil works well. Most of the growers down south will tell you to stay away from the Miracle Grow but my trees have grown by leaps and bounds. My keylime has doubled in size and I have only had it for 7 months. The keylime has flowered twice now. No fruit but I want it to grow more. The moro blood orange is also growing fast also. I am very pleased with Oganic Miracle Grow potting soil. Andrew

I looked in the blue box again and now there are 3 babies. There is only 1 egg left to hatch. I guess today was hatch day so that is why they are so lifeless. The parents are so busy feeding the dees, they are going to be really busy when it is time to fed their babies. So when should they start feeding the baby blues? Those dee babies are going to be so fat when it is time for them to leave the nest. Between their parents feeding them and the blues feeding them. I will continue to watch and see if they go in their own house. I hope everything goes well for the blues. Anymore advice I would sure appreciate it. Thanks everyone!

I have seen some IKEA sofa that you purchase the cover separate. As to the cats, they can be trained to use a scratching post. I had a trained cat and ended up with a 3 year old that had no idea what a scratching post was for. Here is what to do. Cover all favorite spots on furniture with double stick carpet tape or a clear vinyl (looks better) I pin on vinyl pieces, can purchase at a fabric store. They also sell it at pet stores. They must scratch somewhere, I use a sisel rope covered scratching post that is not strait up and down but has an angle and is very solid and stable.I have tried the other items at pet store and this works best for me. I have to replace the rope once a year. Rub with catnip to attract them to it. If you catch them at furniture pick them up and show them the post, even take their paw and show them what to do don't yell or punish them with your hand,they may not understand what they did wrong. Positive reinforcement works best with cats. I also give them a treat when they use the post. I have also used a spray bottle with water when caught at furniture. It works so well now both cats run to the scraching post and scratch to get a treat...they now know the furniture it off limits. A few people I know tried this and it works,took about one month to train. I do still have vinyl on a few areas just to be sure
