One is blooming. I keep trying to remember to check its tag so I can tell you what the name is. It is Victoria something. Deep red blooms and the leaves are nearly red to purple. Will do my best to get the correct name tomorrow. I ordered 4 others off e-bay. They are growing but not blooming yet.

It was minus 32c

Lovely! You have a handsome Cardinal. Titmouse is spoiled rotten and throwing out allot of corn. We don't have these here.

paulsiu,, I think you may be slightly miss-understanding a common bird habit. Generally when birds are feeding on the ground or at a low feeder one bird will remain perched on a higher limb to watch for predators. Occasionally there will only be two birds, such as when you see the male & female cardinal. In that case one will stay up high while the other eats. then they switch places, thus if may look like the male is chasing her off.
