Seedmama- I threw on some clothes and went to open the gate, did not want to make the mailman wait, I glanced now and then to see if he would arrive He did not show to toss my onions on the drive. Nevermind, I said, tomorrow we'll see, If that fool will bring my onions to me, He really doesn't have any sense, When I went to close up, onions were at the fence. So tomorrow I will call the PO to complain, That this idiot did not come down the lane, It won't be the first time I called in on him, Will it be the last? the chances are slim. He no longer hangs the parcels in a bag on the box, What kind of mind? His head's full of rocks! But he usually drives down and throws them out on the grass, Which makes me want to kick his axx. I had a good mailman but he has retired. I don't really want to get a man fired, Just want him to do his job, and do it right, So I don't have to get all uptight. Thanks for your help, you do good work. Even if my mailman's a jerk! Your hard work is appreciated, But I'd still like to get my mailman traded. Thanks!!!! Mo

Nest fatality is common for open-cup nesting birds. The nest itself will not be reused, but depending on your location, they will most likely attempt to renest. BN

I have no idea; very strange indeed. Robins are usually loyal and caring parents. I would stay away; they would feed the baby while building others "nests" I think. Robins sometimes change their minds and build a few nests before egg-laying; not usually while raising young though.

Its been very dry actually. We're just always watering a lot. This happens to be a Florida peach tree :) It was declining because I used to spray roundup around the bottom. It used to make mowing easier for me since I'm not much for using a weed wacker..I didn't know better is my excuse :-/ new hubby brought it back to life.....This cat minds his own business. He is not very social. He more of a "feed me and leave me" type of cat. He was trained but my daughter never cleaned the littler box (her cat and I warned her) I ended up buying a doggy door that installs to the sliding door. He loves it!
