dead adult

Hey, guys! I'm hoping someone can give me some insight. This is my third year to have a nesting box. The first year, all went well. Last year, I discovered a dead adult male in the nest when I checked it. He didn't appear to have any marks on him, but I assumed that another bird killed him. I plugged up my box for the rest of the year.

I opened it up again this year, and used monofilament and a sparrow spooker, but Sunday, I found another dead adult in the nest, with no obvious signs of trauma.

Any ideas about what's going wrong?

Is it possible that my nesting box is housing some sort of disease? Any help would be appreciated!
