Sorry the pics are not so good but the birds move fast and im still trying to learn the camera. Im glad i got the spooker up even tho i had only seen a couple of sparrows. Today i noticed a male sparrow hanging around the nestbox and pestering the parents who are busy bringing food. Mind you i have other nestboxes available this is the only box occupied and the HOSP is bothering the parents. So even when you think they are safe they are not. Thank goodness for the invention of the spooker and thanks for the advice.

How cool Bonnie, so glad you can post pics now! This morning I saw a nasty HOSP by one of my TRES boxes, I was worried about the female TRES that I knew was on the nest and I didn't see the male in sight! I was ready to run out in my bare feet after that HOSP but he flew away and then thankfully the male TRES showed back up. I did go check later to make sure everything was ok in the nestbox and it was. I don't normally put up spookers on the TRES nest. Hope your spooker keeps the HOSP away from the Blues nest!

Thanks Donna :-) Do you know how i can make the pics a little smaller? They really seem to large and in your face so to speak. You just don't know how excited i am that i can post! LOL....I want to share our pretty babies too. I still drool over your TRES pictures and im really sorry the blues didnt nest with you first off. I hope they will next time. Isn't that what they did last year? You take beautiful pictures by the way. I know mine are not good enough to post but im trying anyway. LOL....

Bonnie I'm still in the learning curve on HTML codes myself, I looked at the code for your posting, I'm thinking that probably the code needs something to tell it what width it should be, maybe you could add width="xx" at the very end of the code before the > and put numbers in place of the xx around with some numbers like 200, 400 etc to you get something that works, it also might work with percentages so try something like 50% in place of the XX. Maybe the gal that has done the Sialis page will know for sure.

Bonnie I'm going to wish I had went to bed but anyway my suggestion above works. Here's the code for your first picture with the width added in at 50% just add what you see in red and take out the red * which I used to stop the code from working.

Bonnie, I used to resize my pics in a photo program before I uploaded them to Photobucket. However now photobucket lets you choose the size of the pics as you upload. Once you login into your account and where you see the Upload Images and Video thing and you hit the choose files button to upload. Just below that choose files button is another drop down thing that says - reduce to - and normally on there is 800x600 (15"screen) change that to 640x480 (large) and this works perfect for this forum. Hope that helps!
