Kathy, congratulations on your new home. When will you be moving into it? I bet its beautiful, does it have established flowerbeds, or do you have to put them in? I will take sweet autumn clementis, as well as pink flowering clementis if you want them, just let me know and I will put them aside for you. Do you need any pots? I have all sizes, let me know and I will get them to you. I have up to 15 gallon. Just in case you want to take some of your plants with you. Your right, fresh palate it is. You can tell the daylilies and periwinkles in front are new for curb appeal. The left and right sides of the patio has a bunch of lantana and that's about it.

I really really like your house & patio & yard! I also moved into a new home this week but the landscaping consists of builder's choice boxwoods in front and a kinda' dead varigated bush. I have lots of work ahead. I'm new to swaps -- can someone educate me as to what's expected of me besides my presence? I would like to attend the SA one to get the feel of it. I moved from Houston with a backyard full of gorgeous hibiscus & need to know what grows well in New Braunfels.

Thanks natvtxn for the link. We may bring limestone or granite rocks from our property -- if my husband feels energetic. They are great in landscaping.

I've got a neat plant. It needs a good home. It needs full sun and heat. Growing conditions would be similar to cenizo. (Actually it probably is more heat and sun tolerant than cenizo!)

It's called "Little Leaf Cordia". It's a dwarf version of the Texas/Mexican Olive.

When I bought my plant last summer, I didn't know anyone in Texas who grew it, so I checked with the people at the Arizona GW Forum. They told me that it needed full hot sun or it would sulk.

I thought I had mine in full, hot sun, but it wasn't.

Leaves are similar to cotoneaster.

Mine was grown by Mountain States Nursery in Arizona.

Well, just got back from HEB, I got the stuff to make the millionaire bars. I can hardly wait to meet everyone this Saturday. Kathy are you able to stand up, after all that planting? Does anyone have a list of their wants ? I'd like to know exactly what to bring if possible. I spent the past three days packing and unpacking over 500 plants that I took to my church fundraiser. So, I really don't want to do that again. Can you post here ? or even email me directly, I don't mind. I see that someone wanted sagos, and another wanted daylilies, so I'll bring those, even though you're getting some from someone else. What is everyone else looking for ?

Patty, could you bring me a chocolate plant? Also if you have anything else that you think I would like. I can bring you a rooted plumeria about 2ft tall, I think it is yellow, or would your rather have a 4ft white one? If you do not want the plumeria then what would you like? I just dug out a bed of the Aloe saponaria so I will be bringing some huge ones as well as some pups.

My mulchman, Bob, will be happy to load them in the back of the van since they were overhanging the walk where he goes to get the lawn mower. (I thought they were beautiful there ... but oh well :-)

They will live out of the ground for several weeks, or even months maybe, and even bloom sitting out, so no problem with not having them in a pot to bring. Anyway, Red Geranium and anybody else that wants some bring a big box or you can just lay them in the back of your car. Bring some newspaper.

I love to give away plants, but that's about all I am bringing as my knee just doesn't let me stay on it for long, so I haven't been potting stuff up. Maybe by next swap I'll have a 'new' knee. I have another appointment with the othopedic surgeon next week.

Ooo Patty I'd love more daylilies! Were you the one who gave out the Confederate Rose last time around? If so mine is now 4ft tall (I didn't kill it!) and has what looks to be flowers coming out of the top center Yay!

LOL, maybe I will bring some mums. I have about 75% of those planted.
