4 Eggs Final - The Latest Picture

I sat outside for a bit today and watched the BBs feeding on mealies. Earlier this morning Angie went in to the box and stayed, so I went off to run errands. A bit ago I went out for the afternoon feeding and she and Brad both came when I whistled. So she wasn't in the box. They got scared by some jays so I checked the box contents. Still just the 4 eggs so I guess that's it. I need to do some reading because I thought she would stay in the box more once she was finished laying them. I realize she can't stay in there 24/7 til they hatch, and this is the warm part of the day, so I wouldn't blame her for finding a shady place to rest.

After checking the box I whistled for them again and they both came. She ate a few more mealies then went into the box. He ate, took some to her, than ate again and flew up into the trees.

I'll feed them again around 7. Doubt I'll check the box again until tomorrow. Don't want to make them nervous, even though they seem fairly used to me.

This pic of the 4 eggs is a little better. I wasn't as shaky. One of them looks like it has a little white line on it - like an easter egg marked with wax before dipping in pale blue. And one has a (WARNING GRAPHIC>>>LOL) touch of blood on the shell. I'm sure it's from when it was laid and not damage afterwards.

This second brood during the heat, storms, humidity and bugs that are GA in May/June will require a lot of help from all of you I'm sure. Please be patient and know you have my gratitude and that I will listen to any advice you offer.
