Congratulations, Debbie! You have every reason to feel proud. It takes a lot of dedication and patience to produce a rebloom on your orchid. I wish you lots of flowers from this spike (and is that another green protruberance, promising another spike at the centre base of the plant?). I still remember the thrill of my very first rebloom last spring. Since then, I haven't been all that successful. Most of my collection is a healthy green and growing, so maybe soon... I placed my phals up against the computer screen so that they can get some inspiration, but December is the start of the phal spiking season here - still a long wait. Good growing! Judy

congrats! I started with quite a few eggs this year (about 12. 9 cats survived, but only 7 have successfully pupated. They burrowed down a couple of weeks ago, I dug out the pupas from the shredded paper I had them in and am anxiously waiting! This is my first time with them. (first year butterfly gardener) I placed them in a springy netted laundry basket with a little shredded paper on top and some limbs to climb up on. I then threw a light weight towel on the top. Will this be ok for them to emerge in?

Sheet glass backsplash and let the stone be the star. If your range is on a wall, I may even run the blue bahia behind it as well so that you have all horizontal surfaces and one vertical surface in BB. I am sorry, no quarts, caeserstone and other fakes (cultured, manmade or whatever the term is these days) come anywhere close to the look or attractiveness of natural stone. These two slabs speak for themselves.
