Great birdfeeder, and what a cool idea using the brass handle. Looks like you have lots of birds around,love it! Can't wait to see more of your stuff. I'm looking for just the right wooden ladder for a pot rack,and one for an overhead trellis........one day :)

I hung it up right away in a magnolia tree. At first I thought the silicone was bad,or maybe it didn't want to stay glued,but found out for some reason the SQUIRRELS are taking the cups off! Maybe they think they see more birdseed in it,or they like to chew the dried silicone,whatever the reason, I finally got tired of glueing the clear punch cups back on. I loved the look of the cups with the glass center of the chandelier, and I suppose I could have glued them back on and used it as a candle holder,but I am collecting tea cups and saucers to make another birdfeeder like that. Good luck in the chandelier search:) Maybe freecycle? I bought the spray paint at Walmart,so many new colors they've come out with!

No holes, I haven't attempted drilling into glass or porcelain yet. I'll just tend to it regularly. The way the birds have been eating the birdseed, I don't think that'll be a problem. The chain is just cradling the tea cup. I've been thinking about adhereing it with the silicone adhesive.

Well now isn't that really pretty, I've don't think I've ever seen a hanging shade like that. Darn squirrels get on top my shed from the trees, get over to the roof edge and climb onto my birdfeeder. From there I've seen the little boogers stand on the perch part and literally lift up the cover, stick their heads in and munch away. Well they finally broke it last week and I found it on the ground. Ya think they'd learn that there's more seed on the ground which I put there for them, but nooooooo! It's much more fun to climb on ole' Sal's feeder, a gift from her DS and DIL, and get to the goods the hard way. Thanks a lot you little brats, now "you get nothing and like it!!!!!"
