OT: Update on my nesting season

Status:

Box 1 - EABL nest started. This will be 2nd nest. 1st nest flegged 3 of 5 babies. 1 of them being handicap.(only has function of 1 leg) 2 eggs didnt hatch from the first clutch

Box 2 - 5 TRES eggs just hatched today or yesterday

Box 3 - 4 TRES babies bout 5-6 days old. 6 eggs were laid.

Box 4 - Empty - HOSP been sitting on it.

Box 5 - This was an interesting box today. This morning saw a male EABL on it wing waving and singing. Then a HOSP showed up and was sitting in the hole chirping. The EABL did not fight the HOSP and is not aggresive or shy because he sat up above me in the tree the box is mounted on while i installed the trap. I got my gilbertson trap out and put it in the box and within 30 minutes had caught the HOSP and put him in my repeating trap. I found out later that this EABL is a new bird in the area once I saw the pair from box 1 out around their box. I'm really excited because I only have had 2 pairs 1 other year because they are so territorial. But the way these 2 boxes are set up, they are the farthest apart and have obstructions like houses and the barn blocking the view. Now all the new male needs to do is find him a girlfriend.
