Thanks for the reply! It could very well be it. I'll have to look for the wing bars. My only question is that it shows to be here in tx only for migration and these seem to be here all year. The darn things are so fast when they move it's hard to see them and they're never around for more that 10 minutes when I do see them. The description sounds like them but I have been seeing them all summer long. It's a fine looking little bird.

I kept hearing the male Yellow-throated Warbler singing out by the creek yesterday. It was warm and sunny, so I packed my backpack and started out the door with my camera, but no sooner did I step off the porch the sun disappeared. I then started up the mnt, but by the time I reached the first corner, a terrific electrical storm hit and I had to run back down the steep trail, covering my camera. It rained all night, too Sheesh! Rachel, Great photos of beautiful birds. I saw my first Cerulean 2 years ago while birding/walking where I live and my first ever Blue-wing Warbler flew right into my own yard Thursday while videoing my EBB nestlings fledgling. Unfortunatly, I didn't get a photo, too busy with the fledgling, but it was a sight to behold. Renee
