aunt, what I meant was, they were originally custom built oak cabs. At the time, they were prob done to fit that kitchen, and not builder grade we usually see. They are well made, solid oak, and although the honey color, the grade of the wood is superior to the wood types in the dreaded 90's basic kitchens. What really sets these apart of builder-grade, is crown, and trim molding, it gives is a custom finished look. She didn't have to paint or restain them! just changing everything else around it was enough to bring them up to date. compare to this before, strictly builder grade, basic oak cabs.

Michael, Please, please refrain from making comments which are so inaccurate!! I have planted, grown and sold hundreds of JM's over the years and as a consulting horticulturist, I am extremely familiar with Verticillium wilt. I have encountered it dozens of times. It can appear at any time of year and often, a failure to leaf out fully in spring is a clear sign. It also has almost nothing to do with excess water. It is a soil pathogen virtually omnipresent in soils, often staying dormant for decades before becoming activated by some sort of stressor - drought, root disturbance, late spring freezes, mechanical damage, etc. It can be slow, developing over a period of months limb by limb, or very fast, taking down an entire tree in a matter of days. It destroys the vascular system and an affected branch will NOT releaf the next spring! You will be very lucky if the tree is even alive next spring!!! it is virtually assured 100% fatality. So far your record here on GardenWeb is very poor. First day, 3 comments, ALL with inaccurate information you insist is correct. Please get your facts straight before commenting again!! Annie, Ive been going through significant hair loss. Its called telogen effluvium. It happens after a stressful experience or major surgery. Lucky me, Ive had both in the last year. My mother’s death ( not unexpected) and shoulder surgery. I talked to my PCP about it and she said she sees it all the time. She said it will come back but the hair needs to go through one growth cycle, which could be a year. Whenever I run my fingers through my hair I get at least ten strands from just one spot. When i wash it, the brush is totally clogged with hair. It looks like a bird’s nest when i clean the brush. She said to try Rogaine, but wasnt real enthusiastic about it. In the meantime, I have an appointment with a dermatologist who specializes in hair loss. I may cancel since i know what’s going on. If i go, Ill ask him about Nutrafol. Oh, my PCP added testing my thyroid to my blood test to be sure that wasnt affecting my hair. Ive started taking Vitamin D and Biotin. Maybe they will help a little. I hope the Nutrafol helps. Seeing your hair thin is so upsetting.

Very pretty wwbungalow- really nice rug. Lyban- that is a good suggestion - I do like that pattern and the size in front of vanity would work and then a small one either of the same pattern or a towel/mat like Mtn shared. Of course that one you circled is back ordered but will be available in May. I will definitely think on that. Eld, your dog looks so perfect with that rug. I do like those rugs and may think about that for my kitchen at least in front of the sink for now. I could also use a runner along the island- the side near the sink of course, but then it's more hidden by the island. They are so pretty that I'd love for it to be more seen. Maybe a small one by the sink and maybe a runner one on the other side of the island. You've each given such nice suggestions. So helpful.
