So for all of you that monitor the Black Capped Chickadee nestings how much do they tolerate it? My Dees that were fighting with the TRES over a nestbox have moved to a different box and started a nest. They were in and out all morning so I quick took a peek when they had both left and there was moss all over the bottom of it. I am trying not to get too excited yet. The threat of the dang House Wren (which I haven't seen nor heard yet) scares me to death with the Dees. I know the House wren will be here soon. I have never had Dees yet so I was just curious how often those of you that host them monitor the nestbox. Usually with the Blues I checked every day or every other day. The TRES I monitor every couple days or so. Oh and by the way we have TRES eggs in one of the nestboxes, gotta check again today on the other nestboxes to see if they have laid any yet, hadn't as of yesterday. Thanks!
