Help with bird I.D. please

Saw this little guy in my drive, eating some seed with other birds (juncos, sparrows, etc.) I can't identify it. At first I thought it was a young starling, but I don't think so. Possibly is it a younger cowbird? It has no markings on it. Its pretty dark.
And it doesn't hop, but it walks. any ideas? Thanks!

Not much to go by,..just a pointy beak, which makes me to think of a Pine Siskin.

Thanks Konrad. Its a pretty dark picture. After searching for images on the internet, I think I'm inclined to think its a young starling. I read that both cowbirds and starlings walk instead of hop, so I'm thinking starling. There have been several adult starlings around, but never with this little one. Maybe I'll try to lighten the pic. I should have done that to start with.

Robin, The second bird is a male Yellow Rumped Warbler 100% sure. I love all of our warblers so very much. Here where I live I have many species that nest in the woods,fencerows,etc behind me. The Yellow is spectacular and the Prothonotary..well Wow!!!! is all you say when you see one. No other country on Earth is as blessed with so many cool birds as we are here in the United States and the warblers of North American are a very special part of that group indeed. Thanks everyone! I also posted on the bird forum and they seem to think it is a blue grouse. He said it was pretty big and when he came toward it to take a pic, it raised it's wings and came toward him like it was coming after him. haha, I think he was overreacting a bit :)

Not a starling too small and the beak is to short.

Lightened up it looks like a female Brown-headed Cowbird.
