It's going to be pretty harmless :-) In fact, you can source out various recommendations for homemade fertilizer concoctions that include beer straight out of the bottle. They don't really do anything but they don't cause any fatalities either. The alcohol content is negligible and even more diluted once it has gone through your system. I'd be more concerned about the urea content of the urine causing burning of plant tissue if applied directly than I would about the alcohol.....much like the effect of dogs peeing on bushes. For best/safest results, I would the think the compost would be the best target. And yes, the mental image is a bit disturbing :-))

Google "wooden automatron"....and whistling automaton....and carved drunk automaton.... There are lots and lots of similar figures out there....and variations on.....and they are priced all over the ball park....some selling for over $1,000....some not getting bids for $150. It seems the bird indicates that the figure whistles.....some have a battery to light the light post.....but all are very collectable....there are websites devoted to automatron collectors. do some searching!....make friends with some of the collectors and find out where to get it repaired.

Having dealing with diesel or fuel oil for many years, there is no simple answer. Used fuel oil (diesel) for heating and sometimes Dawn soap will remove the fuel. I even had a cat fall into some oil, and used dishwashing (not for dishwasher) boy was she an unhappy cat: thought we would lose her as it is fatal to breath and drink. I would replace the carpet and then talk to a place that cleans the big rigs--a regular truck washing place. Talk to big rig drivers, or contact someplace like "Flying J truck stops. There are producds to absorb the diesel but these would be hard to use under your conditions. You probably will always have a slight smell, especially under heat.

I didn't even bother looking at it until now since the thread seemed like it was more entertaining than the video could possibly be. Despite all those wishing it was real, there's no way IMO that it could possibly be real. People who have dealt with drunks should see it unless their view was clouded by other issues, and that can happen. Too often people just *want* it to be real. I must say though, the guy had very good balance for a few of the acts. Never have seen a drunk that coordinated. I do have to disagree on the cameras though. I've designed, installed and set up surveillance systems that give this quality and better. The quality of the digital cameras out there over the last 10 years is surprisingly good. I don't question that it was recorded on the store cameras. FWIW, most stores would not use real time recording for security anyway, they'd use time-lapse so that is another reason (if there weren't enough already!) why it's doubtful this could possibly be real. They likely set it for realtime to make their movie and now it's back on time-lapse. And before anyone goes off the deep end, no, I don't expect everyone to know this and use that as an evaluation while they're watching it. It's simply sharing some information, which some appreciate. What I also found amusing on the setup, the cameras aren't in the best location for surveillance either. We would spend a lot of time evaluating best angles and camera locations when we designed systems for businesses. But I digress. If this were "real", and if I were the owner of the store, I'd fire everyone working there. The fat guy in the red shirt, stocking the shelf while a guy supposedly is bouncing off the shelves in the next aisle. The guy supposedly hanging from the cooler doors... IF it were real what was (so poorly) portrayed could easily be in the area of $500-$1000 in damage to the cooler door. Takes a lot of 12 pack sales to cover that so any employee allowing that to happen should be fired in real life. To say nothing of (at least) twice the guy gets up and walks off camera normally, or "unimpaired". A case of spontaneous sobriety, I'm guessing! LOL A little slip-up in the editing too. I'm fairly certain the star didn't intend for that to be in there. Here's yet another example of why people get bilked out of their life savings by "Nigerian Generals". Not so bad to be taken in, but when people get hysterical defending it, I almost wonder if they'd force an extra check onto Buba Harumba or whatever name is being used today! :) So now's my time to climb upon my soapbox and once again warn anyone open-minded enough to listen: Do *not* believe everything you see on TV, receive in an email, read on the internet or hear from someone!
