When an old friend smarted off at his boss & got "laid off" 4 months before his retirement, he was in a temorary financial bind. so he scrunched down & absolutely stopped spending a dime... & his wife spent $300 at the grocery store. So I think the male/female difference must apply to other things, too, like composting, but there's also a personality or perspective or "brain" difference. Years ago I took a sales class about "The Four Personality Types". the instructor gave us a handy hint to remembering them by connecting them to the 4 main characters in the old Startrek tv series. Leader: must be in charge, must be the first, finds it easy to make decisions & take action. (Captain Kirk) Analyst or Engineer: must have data. When you provide this person with data, (s)he wants...more data. Decision-making is not on the agenda, but meticulous to brilliant analysis is, & you can take this person's analyses to the bank. (Spock). Social/Extrovert: talks to everybody, engages with everybody, operates from a basis of compassion & loves get-togethers. (Dr McCoy) Consultative or Family Type: wants everybody to be on the same page, seeks consensus (Mr Scott). Leaders will buy the biggest & the best & the newest of whatever it is, & will delegate responsibilities & get the job done. Analysts pore over technical information & take scrupulous notes, marking down core temps & listing every banana peel. Social types don't care how it gets done, let's all just go out there & pitch in & who's gonna bring the beer? (& what fun to add it to the pile!) Consultative types will mediate within the family or group, going from leader to analyst to extrovert, applying oil to troubled waters & making sure everybody gets whatever (s)he wants: leader gets praise, analyst gets sheaves of information, extrovert has fun, & the task/job/project gets done. It all works!

I have nurtured many weeds over the years. I almost never pull seedlings unless I know for sure they are weeds. Over the last few years, I have ultimately nutured a few strange things, one real surprise one year was about 6 weeks after a particular seedling sprouted, I finally identified it as pumpkin! It was a volunteer from a pumpkin that was placed in the garden at Halloween! I probably could have identified it earlier then 6 weeks, but never in a million years did it cross my mind that is what it could be, as we never "grew" pumpkins in our front garden before! The first year I grew poppies from seed I was glad I did not pull out my weeds too early! They where my Poppies! lol... I wonder how many people that direct sow seeds are disapointed when they don't see the fruits of their efforts, only because they weeded them out at some point! I think you should let these grow a bit more. Keep an eye on them, it is too early to tell yet!

Unless you can watch the box 24/7 without blinking don't count those eggs out yet! I have newly laid eggs too, and while I see my Blues at the mealworm feeder each day, I have yet to actually see Momma go into the box - but I'm sure she's in there. Momma Blues are pretty secretive, and activity at the box usually appears to come to a standstill during incubation (as compared to nest building and feeding chicks). Wait out the incubation period for sure. I'm guessing you'll have sweet little babies to peek at soon, even if peeking at Momma is currently a challenge. Good Luck!!

You have 2 different issues that are semi-related 1) ISSUE 1: BUY the house you just found Do you want to use a Dual Agent. I have done this before as a buyer and I didn't have any issues at all. I have seen where folks recommend that you get a buyers agent to represent you. In my case I chose to go with the Dual Agent because I am very knowledgable in real estate so I didn't need a buyers agent to help me. In the end the sale went smooth. I think a buyers agent might be good for you - especially to assist if any issues are discovered during inspection. 2) ISSUE 2- Sell your current home. You said you got 1 CMA from an agent and it was low. Find 2 more agents and get them to give you a CMA and their pitch on how they will sell the home. basically contact 3 agents and tell them you are considering selling and can they give you CMAs and you want to discuss how they will market your home. These agents will be giving you a speel on why to pick that agent/their firm. They each should give you realistic comps and discuss with you. You don't need to choose which agent immediately. if you dont like any of the 3, try a 4th until a good fit. Keep in mind they are in sales and might try to push you to sign a listing agreement. Dont sign until you are ready . ONLY SIGN up to a 90 DAY LSTING AGREEMENT...NO MORE (this is once you made your choice). Some might try to sneak 6 months in. You want to give yourelf the option to switch agents if you choose in 90 days. This is why you only get 90 in orig agreement. Get 60 if you can but most won't do less than 90 IMO
