new to bluebirding; I have followed this forum and it has helped me tremendously. This year, 3 boxes, since early March I have watched male/female select box, build nest, lay 4 eggs, due to hatch Saturday. Provided mealworms twice/day and watched male feed female incubating in box. One time I checked box and female was nesting, did not fly way, i quickly apologized and closed box. Yesterday, I checked box and only have one egg left!! No signs of attack, no shells, just one egg. Male is flying around, have not seen female. So disappoined....is it something I did?
