My first guess: female downy woodpecker. Perhaps someone more knowledgeable can confirm?

I think Hostanista is correct.. We have a couple that come to our yard daily. (In Toronto Ontario)

It is a Yellow-bellied Sapsucker.

The beak seems too long for a downy. My first thought was a yellow-bellied sapsucker as well.

That is one woodpecker I've got just one photo of. They're fairly uncommon around here and don't like to stay out in the open. I got this shot several years ago at a state park.

BN is correct, ..they should be coming here soon and will do allot of damage or kill trees.

guess better then my trees!

Since I planted hundreds of trees, it is a smorgasbord for them, wish they go to the neighbor,...not much to eat there.
