Plz help ID another bird for GBBC

This one was much farther away. About 12-14 inches long,

big white tummy--all other birds left when he arrived. He

sat in the same spot for half an hour(then I left!).

Sorry so blurry. Pretty sure it is a hawk. It was so black that I at first took it for a crow--but have never seen such a fat crow with a white tummy.

This one is either a Coopers or a Sharp-shined Hawk.

Unfortunately the bird's head is so obscured in this photo that I think the best we can do is call it an 'accipiter sp'.

Hi morz8 / missingtheobvious Thanx for the replies Appreciate It 'Cause I Really Really Want At Least One And I know it's a shot in the dark with my description I'm in Long Beach / Sunny SoCal Saw a small one about 3 weeks ago in a yard & thought it was pretty interesting looking I've been in to plants for a good 20 years & in to say "Interesting / Uncommon" plants for a good 10 - 12 year & don't even recall ever seeing a pic of one (Watch It Be Something Totally Common / LOL) And now I just saw another one today In a yard like 2 streets over from my house And It Was Big Or at least looked big Couldn't tell if it was in the ground or potted/raised up Will try & see if I can get a pic from the sidewalk Save anybody the time of typing it Knocking On The Door & Asking Is Not Really An Option I can't tell if the leaves are thick or not??? But I'm Like 99.999% Sure That It's Not a Succulent Maybe be wrong though??? Will Try To Get a Pic Post Tomorrow Thanx Again Eric

A purple BEAK? Hmmmmm. Never heard of that. The only large black birds I know of that would likely come to a feeder (besides crows) are grackles. The parking lots and yards of full of purple grackles right now. But their beaks are basically just glossy black like the rest of the bird. Their feathers are irridescent, and have a purple sheen to them, but the beaks are just shiny black. You got me on this one, Marion. Dare I ask for a picture? Well I just did a bit of searching on the net and found that it is one of the worst weeds around.
