4 hosp in drst!!

After weeks of about nothing, I can finally say that my newly purchased DRST is on duty!

I trapped two Male HOSP from one nestbox, each a day apart, and trimmed their wings to put them in the trap.

Today I came home ASTONISHED at the sight of 2 others (1 male, 1 female) that joined!

I was also SHOCKED by finding the THIRD nest attempt in a row at the same box. My bluebird pair now has a pretty good nest built with a now deeper hole. The local TRES just showed up last week. They're a welcomed site and added competition for the HOSP. Happy day here. Hope to nail more! BTW, I really could do with som advice on removing them from the DRST. they're SO squirmish! I'd be afraid for escape so maybe some more wing trimming to be done? I'll take to sialis again too.
