"When we built our house and I was choosing paint colors I must have seemed agitated because at one point dh said "let's just paint everything white" and I shut up real fast and didn't consult him again! Fast forward 5 years and the one room I did paint off white I decided to paint a color. He said " No! You'll paint it some yucky green!" Huh? He has many times said how nice my decorating is and is very proud when he gets compliments on the house. Not that he had much to do with any of it!" When DH and I started dating, he had a new build. All the walls were white and he liked it that way. I started having him watch decorating shows while we were building another house. Thought that Matt and Sherri would be a gentle introduction and then moved on to some of the before and after shows. Now, if I haven't finished painting a room, he'll ask "When are we getting rid of these white walls?" :)

My love-hate relationship with paper is deep and I've been a sucker for magazines since I was a kid when the Saturday Evening Post and Life used to come in the mail . Finally, I've come to a reasonable (for me) solution. I have several categories of interest, gardening, cooking, travel, home remodeling/interior decorating. I've tried binders, plastic sleeves, upright magazine holders and have always wound up being annoyed at the cost, the weight, the time spent filing. I have determined to limit my clippings on any subject to one portable file box which makes it easy to take to a table or in bed or wherever. So the recipe file box has manila folders marked: breakfasts, drinks, salads, beef, Asian, Mexican, holiday meals etc. like a cookbook. I'll put a clipping in that category LOOSE. If I need to make, say, an appetizer, it's easy to find , I can also toss anything at any time, like when I decided I would get rid of the majority of high fat recipes. If the file box gets too full, I go through it and cull, I mean how many versions of bread pudding does one need?! My rule is no more than will fit. The home decor box has categories such as bedrooms, paint/refinishing, kitchens, bathrooms. The garden box has files on roses, succulents, pots, propagation, fertilizing, garden layout etc. I know much of the info is on the web, but the photos trigger my imagination. This is especially true of the files for travel. Regarding magazines like the New Yorker, I invariably fall behind on the reading, so I cut out and staple the fiction and keep them in an expansion file. When I know I'm going somewhere that will involve waiting, like the doctor's office I take one or two in my bag. When I go on a trip, I might take a couple dozen, read them in the airport or in a restaurant and when done, leave them for someone else. I know unsubscribing is sensible, and in the past I've done it, but eventually I renew. What can I say? It's a small vice.

" I would attack’s it with a sponge at least to see if you can clean that up." You do that and you own the entire thing, make him clean it up better. Sooner the better as grout hardens over time. Also as alluded to above he needs to remove the grout at all chnages of plane and use 100% silicone caulk.

To the OP, sorry that happened to you. Nothing can ruin a month or two, or even three (!) like a bad haircut. I'm a hair stylist 30+ years. It's time to find a new stylist. You've been ghosted by your old one. She's telling you, without telling you, that she doesn't want to work on you anymore. Do not reach out to her anymore. Look on Yelp for a new hair stylist for yourself. It's a useful resource. Start fresh and look forward. Give the current haircut time to grow out and get a little overgrown and then go in for a haircut--with a different stylist. The new person will need to have something to work with. One bad haircut can happen to anyone. Twice in a row is a pattern. Time to start over with someone new. Wishing you better luck next time. Hugs Edit to add: Bring in a photo of yourself when you had a haircut you liked. Also, and more important, bring in a photo of yourself when you had a h/c you did NOT like. Visuals on the actual person are useful. Visuals on a person who is not you and has a different hair type, head shape, body mass, etc...are not too helpful in my experience. It's like apples to oranges.
