Hey Linesman, nice shot, this is the same camera I just bought. Posted some pics on the Birdwatching forum. Do you have any problems with your LCD screen having the colors over saturated or does it give you an accurate preview of what the pic will look like on your PC? Mine LCD screen sucks to say the least but it seems like some people says theirs looks just fine and others say theirs is over saturated too. So if I return it for an exchange I have a 50/50 shot of getting the same problem back. What to do....???

If you have not already done so, I would put up a bluebird box. If you have any questions, anyone on this forum is more than willing to help.

RM, You just passed me up! Im at 23 but have 40 or so propigating right now. I will check for roots on them at the end of April. I have know idea what Im going to do with them if they all root! Im expecting to loose some but right now they all are doing great! I may have to give some away but the plan is to try and modify the sandy clay soil in my yard and see if I can get some to grow in the ground. Im gona post a report tonight to show some progress on my plants and berries

The first one is Arrowwood, probably Viburnum dentatum but might be V. recognitum, can't tell from the pictures. They're very similar. Second looks like Gray Dogwood, Cornus racemosa, a common woodland/wetland shrub. Third one is Bittersweet Nightshade, Solanum dulcamara. A very common weed. Pretty, though. I'm not really familiar with Chionanthus virginicus, but it does look like the pictures I see. WW

WANTED: two blue flowering plants

Hi Signet, I have one plant of Plumbago auriculata (capensis) but it is not hardy here-- even with a protected location and a ton of mulch. The two I left outside last winter died; the "insurance" plant (brought inside) lived. It is a nice shrub for the right location. The flowers are a light blue. None of the Plumbago / Leadwort varieties are hardy here, to my knowledge. If you like I will take cuttings when the gardening "obligation load" eases up a bit. LMK. Bev

Hello dgzy

My LCD screen is really close to the picture / colors that gets transfered to the computer.Of course the picture on the computer is a lot bigger
and you can see more detail.
I know you probably already did this but just in case. The user Guide has 289 pages
to read (lol) But on page 59 it says you can adjust the "brightness" of the LCD screen
from "Normal" to "Bright". Maybe you can try that, The adjustment is made from the menu button. Also read page 229/230. The only other thing to do is bring it back and TRY a new one to be sure it does not have the same problem. The store you brought it from may have gotten a bad batch / lot of cameras..
Also make sure your bateries are NEW the ones that came with my camera only lasted 2 days.
