Forgot to plant my seeds earlier this spring. (Glad I did, because the Texas Star hibiscus would have covered them up where I was going to plant!) Am going to go ahead and give it a go, but as I shelled them out, they're more like lentils than peas....

Are they generally flat? It's hard to tell from the photos on line.

I'm soaking them overnight, will plant tomorrow AM, but may just buy a plant if I find one later this week. I intend to reward myself with a trip to Marha's Bloomers and the ARE in Independence if I get my weeding finished and the existing pot ghetto planted!
