Lower leaves on my tomato plant are spotted

I purchased a very yellow tomato plant for my container garden. I know yellow means its lacking nutrients, but I didn't want to pass up the variety, it is a German Lunchbox. I immediately watered it wish fish emulsion and the next day it was a shade darker. All its new growth has grown in a lush green color and the plant looks extremely healthy and has begun flowering. A couple of days ago, I noticed the bottom leaves were starting to become very splotchy in their coloring, so that they are now very mottled looking with yellow spots swirled into darker green. It looks a bit like early blight because it has begun with the bottom leaves. Does anyone know, should I worry or is this normal when a malnourished plant gets fed properly? Thanks very much for your time!
