Need ideas for soutfacing window box

Hi all

I have a 50's ranch with a window box beneath the picture window on one side. Last fall, I took out the old boxwoods...talk about work! Planted parsley...great green color, but turning yellow and keeps trying to flower.

Now I have a problem, one corner of the planter is in deep shade, the other side gets at least 2 hours of west sun, most of it gets great morning sun.

I was thinking about loropedilum (sp?) Chinese Fringe flower...using a more compact variety, but I don't know if it gets enough sun.

If I go with this choice, what will happen to the plant in deep shade?

Any other suggestion? I'm 7b 8a. And I do need to be able to climb in there on those rare occasions I wash the window. So, it needs to be a plant that won't fight back too much.

thank you

c
