I would love to try some seeds but would like something other than red if anybody has crossed other colors. I think I am getting addicted to these beauties! Just hope I live long enough to see the blooms but saw that 107 yr. old veteran on TV today and figure I have lots of time! (Now I need to start smoking lots of cigars every day and have some whiskey in my coffee!) I have some unusual seeds to trade such as Beauty Berry Bush if anyone is interested. I might have some older seed (2 or 3 years old) if you'd like to give them a shot. I had a few plants this year and they didn't get very tall at all, maybe 2' tops. even in zone 8 it is probably just a little too cold still for pepper sprouts. different seeds like different temperatures, some will germinate even when cool, but peppers are one of of the most extreme. they stay dormant until the temperature gets really hot, then the seed feels it is safe to come out and bloom =) anyway this is the long way of saying, that i would assume they havent gotten enough heat to sprout, and will be along in a few weeks.... mostly my assumption is based on previous experience and that peppers are really extreme in their love of heat. even tomatoes and eggplants, other kinds that need a certain amount of warmth, will sprout before the peppers.
