It appears to be a form of red honeysuckle. I would like to get a plant - who did you get it from? If you could email me your source's name (with their permission, of course), I would love to trade for a start of it. Thanks!

The flowers do look like honeysuckle however, the leaves are more pointed, more narrow and glossy. I no longer have the traders name, sorry. I'll try and get a close up shot of the leaves if last night's frost didn't hurt them. Thanks.

Hello, is it possibly Chilean Glory Vine? I can't really see the shape of the flower. Or perhaps it is one of the many tropical trapoleums? Canary vine is the one that we are most familiar with but there are several others.
If you have not done so already, you might want to post it on the Name That Plant forum. Those folks will identify
it with frightening speed.
It is lovely and I would love to add my name to the list of seed/cutting beggars wanting a start of your vine.

Here's another photo. It's not Chilean Glory or Canary Creeper. I'll ask on the Name That Plant forum too. Cuttings are available for trade, no problem. I just would need to trade soon, before any freezes and prior to the holiday rush madness at the post office! ;-)

I posted on the NTP forum that I think this is Phygelius capensis (cape fuchsia). Any other thoughts?

Martha-When I search Cape Fuchsia-Phygelilus capensis, the results are a shrub and this is a vine. :-)

It's planted outdoors and as Digging The Dirt was wondering-I'm not sure if it'll survive our frosts here.

Actually I've gotten many requests for cuttings on this since I posted this thread. Email me in the spring and if it's come back and you've got something I need, we can work out a trade.
