I would suspect that would vary to some extent on the herb, if they are "organic" or not, and local market prices. Are there any farmers' markets or growers co-ops or something similar that you can go to see what is being offered, see the prices, and talk to people that are in a similar business locally? Hi, I've got a 13 year old 4-ton Lennox system and the coil has rusted out and needs to be replaced. I am leaning towards replacing the whole system however, as I would rather spend more money now for peace of mind. Looking at Trane replacements... the xl15i, xl16i, and xl20i. The prices seem high to me, but hey, it's my first time to pay for something like this. I've checked the company on our local BBB and ratings websites and they get excellent remarks. The xl15i quote is 11584 and includes Trane XL15i, VS Furnace TUD100R9V5K, 4 Ton XL15i Coil, A/H is 4TEE3F49A1000.. and this is for a gas system. The xl20i quote is 14139 and it's the XL201 with the same furnace, XL20i coil, and the A/H is 4TEE3C06A1000. Some considerations are that I'd like a very quiet outside unit.. I'm repositioning it next to the fence separating me from my neighbor's pool... they won't be so happy. I have (in my opinion) high humidity problems as I get window condensation and mold growth in various places. I could get a tax rebate with either system according to the charts they have. There's a $1000 instant rebate on top on just the xl20i. I have no idea which thermostat this includes. I'm in Houston, it's humid and hot. I have a 1930 built pier and beam house, a bit drafty though my single pane windows are painted shut. Primarily concerned that I'm not getting messed with as I don't have too much time to take off work to get multiple quotes. Thanks for any advice such as those are reasonable, you're crazy, etc... Seems alright price wise- I would beware of any BBB rating however for the company pays to be on that program and they call me all the time to join up- no thanks- Angies List is much better.
