When can I take cuttings?

Hi,

I'm new to tomato propagation. Last summer I took a cutting and successfully rooted it but it was mid summer at least.

I have plants I started in early March and are more than ready for the ground, i'm just waiting for temps to stay above 50 at night. These started in a window, then went to grow lights and are now in small greenhouses. Some varieties are pretty huge already!

My question is how soon can I start to prune suckers and root them? I want to start propagating as soon as I can because several people would like some of my plants and I'm not sure I'll have enough to spare if I don't propagate some for my own garden.

Thanks in advance!
