Had to tell someone who understands...

My friend Laura and I volunteered to care for a garden bed at our church. We sowed larkspurs, nasturtiums, bluebonnets, wildflower seeds, etc. after Hurricane Ike.

The larkspurs were about 1" and just covered a portion of the bed and the nasturtiums were up and running. Seedlings popping up; we were so excited to see them on Sunday morning.

Then the next Sun. we walked by the bed and to our horror all the larkspur seedlings were gone!!!!! Our bluebonnets were gone, nasturtiums, gone....

We couldn't believe our eyes...we called our head maintenance man and he said a new lawn crew came and he did see a young man out in the bed pulling "weeds". He pulled our seedlings and left the weeds. It would have been so pretty with the cottage garden flowers and bluebonnets.

Well, that's our story of woe. I guess we will start over again.

Anyone have extra larkspur seeds? I have lots of clitoria seeds to trade for them.
