msekfe - I have to tell you, after months and MONTHS of searching, we finally installed Kentwood Natural Hickory Pecan engineered hardwood flooring, and it is quite stunning. I too was worried about having a "busy" floor, especially with our knotty pine trim and cabinetry, but IMO, it complemented the other woods in our home. It is installed in our LR, DR, FR and hallway. It has a marbled grain, and every plank is like a miniature work of art. Added bonus: It wears like IRON - much harder than oak. There is much shading variation (mostly cream/gold/brown tones), as you would expect in this wood species. I will warn you that some of the planks that came out of the box had a pinkish hue we did not care for. We simply did not use these planks, or installed them where they would not be seen, i.e., hall closet. I will try to dig up a pic and post it. Photos do not do it justice, however. I remember seeing interior pictures of homes for sale with this type of flooring and thinking, "Eew - what's with that floor?" but when you see it "in person," it is beautiful. Not for everyone maybe, but we didn't want what everyone else had. Sorry to be so long-winded. I know you are really after pics, not opinions, but I know the angst I went through choosing a floor (big investment you'll have to live with for a long time), so I thought I'd put in my 2 cents worth. I always had hair straight as a stick, fine & thin! Last year I began to get very stressed about things & my hair fell out in big chunks! My scalp also had something like psoriasis & dermatitis in it as well. I went to a knowledgeable dermatologist. She said that it was all from stress but I had also created a problem with my scalp that was very hard to heal. She gave me both a medication to destroy the scalp problem as well as minoxidil (men's strength) to bring my hair back. Even though I am 68 yrs. old I have very few gray hairs, but have red hair. Anyway as I began to use both medications as well as "calm down" my hair began growing back, curly & much thicker than before. I had tried minoxidil several times with just a little success. I was floored with how well it worked & how quickly the medication had healed my scalp problem as well! Many in my family have curly hair, but mine was always totally straight. Just wondered what might have caused my hair to become so curly! It looks just like my brother's now! I am NOT unhappy to have my hair coming back so fast, even if it is very curly!

I use it and, after trying numerous other products, it's my favorite. I color my hair but don't really use it for roots as much as I use it to camouflage the areas where my hair has thinned. It works! I have dark brown hair and use the Blonde powder which is more than dark enough for me. I tried the brunette but it made my scalp look dirty, it is good for a root touch-up though. I have never had it rub off on my pillowcase or run down my face when I've been caught in the rain. I will say that if you scratch your head, you will get it under your nails. A little root lifting spray and finger drying along with Great Hair Day to fill in obvious white scalp and I think my hair looks great. It's weird how it actually makes your hair look fuller. I've been using it since it was sold it at Bed Bath and Beyond for $10, even at 3x the price it's worth it because a very little goes a long way.

Looks like dragon fruit = Hylocereus undatus. (It could be Stenocereus, that is very similar). Hope you have lots of room, they grow large and should be staked and tied to be more manageable. (I got rid of plant I had because the size and very sharp spines :) They can be grown from seed. This plant is also used as a rootstok for grafting and could start growing , especially if grafted plant dies.
