Grafted Mango question

I planted a grafted Glenn about january-febuary, since then the main branch on the scion has died off and is slowly turning black and shrivling working its way downward. It has sprouted a new branch and that new branch is looking great, so im not too worried about that.

my question is the other branches on the rootstock, theres maybe 5 or 6 branches that have been growing and so far I've just let them grow. Should I be pruning these off to try and promote more growth out of the grafted portion?

also a second branch has recently popped out of the top grafted portion but its new leaves look very similar to the bottom grafted branches, could it be possible for this new branch to be part of the rootstock somehow?
