Sorry I cannot join this time, a trip just rescheduled and I will be away in July. Really sorry I had to miss this RR ...

we have one new and 2 that had to drop out...we still have openings for 2 more at this time! I'll email everyone with all the addresses as soon as we get a solid 12 commitment for a Dozen gardeners to do a dozen trades! :)

we have a dozen gardeners now! Now I am only waiting on Toba's physical/snail mail address to be emailed to me and then I can send out all the addresses to everyone! othrwise I'll go ahead and send it all out this wekend sometime and we will have to catch up on Toba when we can.

Its coming right up, please update your trade lists at this time for those wishing to send to maximize on granting wishes otherwise its at the choice of the sender what they will send, plants, seeds, or what ever you like. The average package should contain 12 different types of seeds and average packet amount. If you wish to send otherwise then that is welcomed,too.
No whining and lets have fun!

Need one more player and as soon as that happens the names are a go. If by Friday there is no other name than I will send out what we have and we will only be mailing to 11 other people each. So, you knows whos playing, and I'll get you the addresses By Friday at the latest.

Just checking in to say hello! I started collecting the many things I will be sending out to the other 12. Are we still sending packages to Dusty? I know for sure she drop out of two other 'robins', could you find out for sure. I had a great 4th of July holiday with my family and friends. I hope everyone is having a great summer, I almost couldn't find our 'robin'..we've got to post to keep it near the top!

I havent heard that she has cancelled. I have already sent out all my dozen trades yesterday, but I will give her a knock and see whats up. I saw her cancelling too in the other robins as well today and was curious as well.

I hope everyone has recieved all the addresses to get started. I had one request to resubmit the addresses as it was recieved all jumbled up, hopefully everyone else has recieved theirs and all is legible to work.

Once all the trades have been sent we should be recieving the equvilent of 12 times 12 trades= 144!!! woooowwww, I cant wait, it will be showering of trades all over the country!

Just dropping in to say hello, and share how my garden is growing. I just picked some large zucchini squash, and some nice size tomatoes. I got my first package yesterday and I got some great seeds. I got two types of sweet peas; singing the blues and in the pink. I also got some onion, basil, melon, tomato, dill, parsley, leek, winter squash, sweet corn, muskmelon, pepper, marjoram, yarrow, obedient plant, and malva. Thanks so much, I can't wait to start planting. I have great returns on the seeds I plant, and I know I will have oodles of vegetables, herbs, and flowers. I plan to make some zucchini bread for my son before he returns to Atlanta. I'm also going to make some fried green tomatoes for him also. I hope everyone's garden is growing well.

Just wanted to let everyone know that I got a package from Sue (sguanzon) yesterday. There was a bunch of wonderful seeds that I plan to put to good use. I will be able to see the plants and blooms and know they came from somewhere else.

Maybe I can ask others who are signed up for this exchange to send me email with their snail mail address directly to me, so Lilyroseviolet won't have to send me the address info all over again? If you're not comfortable with that I will understand. Just trying to speed things up a bit so everyone can get their seeds sooner.

Sorry for the problems in getting the addresses to everyone that couldnt open up an excel program, I tried copying it to word and then sending it on, but atlas that didnt work, I am very happy to be rescued and that someone else was able to help out gardenwatch as well.

We have had so much overcast and cool,rainy weather here in Maine this year that I dont even have blooms yet on my tomatoes and wonder if I'll be seeing any ripe ones this year?! and the cukes and squash is the same story. The only thing going crazy are the slugs and the slug trails everywhere...more goop on my hands from them when I weed than I care for.

I am still going on with plantings just because Iam determined to keep going...so dont hold back, Ill be waiting and praying for better weather.

Although I havent felt the effects yet, I Trust all of the GWers and those around the hurricane zones are surviving well. Looks darn awful from the reports coming in.

I think of those on GW as an extended family and imagine all those beautiful gardens and the people I;ve come to know that live in those areas. I'll be praying for you all.

Yes, if anyone gets wiped out from the hurricanes...please let ME for one know about it. I would love to send you a box of plants from my garden to replant your gardens.
Maybe between several of us..you could get your gardens growing again. Good luck to you all..........

Yay! I finally got all 12 out!!!! So far, have received 2.

I'm working on mine. I got two out and then have had a sick 2 year old. Back to the doctor in the morning. Maybe I can get the rest out by MOnday.

I received a wonderful orange jasmine plant from K Scott. I couldn't have received a nicer gift! All in all I believe I've received four or five packages. Thanks for such a nice robin

I also received a plant from K.Scott today...... it's a great looking Caladium. Very pink and white, lovely.

Hi Everyone! I just wanted to let y'all know I AM SENDING MY TRADES OUT!! I did not forget you. My daughter Caitlin was in hospital from 7/1 - 25, she is home now- I have been waiting on home health nurse to show up today (appt. for 7:30a.m.)to change her i.v. tubing site so I can go out and run errands like the POST OFFICE!!! (not child abuse to leave her alone she is 18 years old but I like to get the "scoop") However, since it is 11:42 a.m. and p.o. closes at noon, it looks I am out of luck. As soon as she changes the port, we are off to Kinkos to mail trades, JC Penneys big sale, lunch, Barnes and Nobles and Mass/church. This is her first outing in 4 weeks. (She had a wierd bone/hip infection and abscess. Expected to make full recovery eventually)I will push the wheelchair. Tomorrow we expect to snooze all day! Anyways. Thank you all so much for the generous trades, it was such a pleasant diversion this past month to get packages and I enjoyed them all. :) Sue.
